I, Shazanah Rahman would like to take this opportunity to wish all bloggers and readers a joyous,wonderful,fruitful....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

may the new year brings out the best in everyone of us and may we be blessed with God's grace and may the new set of 12 months makes us even stronger in facing obstacles and hurdles in life, insyallah.

i dont quite have a fixed or perhaps any resolution. well, being me, myself.
hehe! i may not fulfill or abide to my resolution but i do have sketches of future plans for me.
hopefully, God will hear me out and perhaps fulfill everyone's dreams and passion, insyallah.

my deepest condolences to the terrible loss suffered by the pakistanis for the assassination of a well respectable and a strong charismatic leader, Benazir Bhutto.
my heartfelt sympathy goes to her loved ones. may Pakistan finds peace and harmony.
we hope and we pray but its all up to them and hopefully God will hear the prayers of those less fortunate especially in Afghanistan and Palestine.

pardons for the solemn entry cause i really feel for them. which occurs to me that, we being in singapore should always be grateful and bersyukur that we are living peacefully despite of the ups and downs that we experienced.

my new year starts by attending to a religious function at Mujahideen Mosque which is located at Queenstown. was quite broody and braggy about going there with the whole family but at the end of it, i truly know the real meaning of happiness and a true perception of 'enjoyment' which can only be felt when we are closer to God. i do envy those going to the countdown places. no doubts about that. i'm still young mah. but then when Ustaz Shafi or better known as "Ustaz Handsome"(name given by sis) said something about people finding peace and going to places that can only provide a one-time enjoyment places.
i was thinking. will that enjoyment lasts?
watching the repeat telecast of the countdown, what happen after the numerals counting from 10 to 1?
people got drunk and haywired. is that the "real peace" that they have always wanted?
maybe, for some. (i think i'm sounding quite monotonic with this speech)
but these were my reflections. hope it sets us to think. rationally.

till then..much loves.
