Relief Teaching
Finally..
alhamdulilahbeen always looking forward to try out this profession.called almost all the neighbourhood Primary schools on Mon morning. can u believe it? i woke up at 6.30am dudes. i dont think i woke up that early if i'm going to school.Haha!
20/03,Tuesday
Received a call from NorthView Primary. "Hi,Ms Shazanah. i'm calling from Northview Pri.Do u think u can come today for relief teaching?"
*yawn* "Huh?Of course." *big smiles*
i just dont know what had come over me but the next thing i realised,i was already walking confidently into the school compound.haha! my daily timetable?
7.45am-8.15am 2Hope(Drama)
8.15am-8.45am 1Kindness(Drama)
8.45am-9.45am 2Kindness(Maths)
9.45am-10.45am Break
10.45am-11.15am 1Hope(Drama)
11.15am-11.45am 2Patience(Drama)
11.45am-12.15pm 6Patience(English)
12.15pm=12.45pm 5Hope(Maths)
Its not that bad though.i get to teach variety of levels with all sorts of subject. but drama?want to teach what for drama? haha! Free Period lah.
1st Day was a disaster. i sound more like a zoo keeper than a school teacher. the kids are seriously 100% plus 'chop' RASCALS.haha. i swear. they would jump, scream, yell and talk all at the same time. its not only 1 or 2 or 3 students but 30 zoo animals cum students.
alamak.headache seh. they can be cute, funny, irritating and mischievious at the same time. kids.what can i say? they have short attention lif span.only 5 secondS? if i were to scold one group, the group on my left will start talking.then if i scold the group, the 1st group will start talking. tell me citizens. how can i ever get these kids attention? my last resort. took the wooden ruler at the whiteboard which
has lots of purposes,i supposed. bang it against the whiteboard.and shout. "2 Trust! i'm talking to all of you right? look at the front now.i give u 10 seconds. 10,9,8..."
and that's my daily routine,ladis and gentlemen.hehe!

Classes from P2 Kindness and P1 Hope.
Yesterday was my 5th day in that school. it was sure a horrible plus fun plus challenging expeience for me. but, if i wish to be a teacher one day, this small things should be well handled. Kids,Teenagers.there's only one common in them..attention. i've been an
attention-giver since i started teaching the students.
"Teacher, cheacher, Dylan take my eraser never ask permission"
"Mdm Zanah(like wat?!) i lost my pencil. never bring paper"
"Cher, must fold like this ah? is this correct"and start shoving the paper to me.
"Cher....my draw nice?must colour or not?can use colour pencils?" colour using colour pencils?like Duh.
"Cher....i finish already.i clever.know how to do.yay,yay!" umm..ok.
and so on..and so forth..
those type of dialogues have to be entertained when im with them. they just love the idea of people praising them, loving them. welll, who says we the 19s and the adults dont like?we do love the attention.but we don't show it though.maybe, bcause of our ego?or because of self respect? try to turn and cmpliment your fren or your family members abut how nice they look today. they'll love it.
the kids are definitely a bless despite of their naughtiness. shockingly,my teaching experience story has attracted a few to sign up for relief teaching. if u wish to do so,go to MOE website. don't wait for schools to call you.you have to call the schools personally. so seri,is there anything else that u want me to update about my relief teaching?
awaits for compliments.
"you're pretty."
"i know,tell me something i don't know"
Haha!
